Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account details: email, name, password hash (we do not store plaintext passwords).
• Onboarding / profile answers you choose to provide (goals, lifestyle, optional health context).
• Food diary, workouts, check-ins, measurements, progress photos you upload.
• Food-scan images and derived estimates when you use the scanner.
• Billing metadata via Stripe (we do not store full card numbers).
• Basic device, log, and analytics data to operate and improve the Service.

2. How we use information

To provide personalized training and nutrition features, process payments and unlocks, send transactional email (e.g. password reset), secure accounts, prevent abuse, and improve product quality. We do not sell your personal health information.

3. AI & subprocessors

Food photo scan and related features may send images or text to third-party AI providers (for example Google Gemini) and nutrition data services (for example USDA FoodData Central) when enabled. Payments are processed by Stripe. Hosting may use providers such as Railway and Vercel. Do not submit information you are not comfortable processing under those providers’ terms.

4. Progress photos

Progress photos you upload are stored to power your Visual Progress features. Treat them as sensitive. You can delete photos from the product; residual backups may persist for a limited operational period.

5. Retention & your rights

We retain data as needed to operate the Service and meet legal obligations. You may export or permanently delete your account from Account → Privacy & data (password confirmation required), or by emailing support@vectorai.app. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information under applicable Canadian privacy law.

6. Security

We use industry-standard practices including TLS in transit, hashed passwords, access controls, and audit logging for sensitive actions. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your province). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. International transfers

Data may be processed in Canada and other countries where our providers operate. By using the Service you understand that safeguards may differ from those in your home jurisdiction.
